I'm your guide, Steve Erickson.

 My fascination with fly fishing began early, about age 7, when my father would take me to small steams in western Pennsylvania. I was instantly fascinated by the myriad creatures that I saw in and around the water.  Fast forward and I'm now in my seventeenth year guiding for The Fly Fishers Place.

 My basic philosophy is simple, fly fishing is a hoot. You should have fun. Sometimes the fishing is slow, sometimes it's hot, it really doesn't matter, it is all fun and an adventure. 

 

Having  said that I do pride myself on the ability to find fish and particularly big fish. It's fish hunting and nothing beats the pull and fight of a large fish on a fly rod.
