Single Day Lake Floats

Join me on one of the High Cascade Lakes and search for big browns and bows. We will employ a wide variety of techniques or focus on one that is working really well. In either case, it will be a struggle to focus on the fishing as we will be surrounded by some of the most picturesque scenery on this earth. Our two most popular options are East lake and Hosmer Lake.

East lake is located about 40 minutes south of Bend Oregon, and sits in a high caldera. It's a beautiful piece of water with abundant bows and browns, many of which are over 20" in length. We'll be fishing out of a 16.5'open sled style motor boat with ample power to change locations quickly throughout the lake.
Price: $500 for one or two anglers

Hosmer Lake is located about 30 minutes from Bend, near Mt. Bachelor. It's a smaller lake and a much more intimate setting for fishing. Formerly stocked with Atlantic Salmon, Hosmer now has an abundant population of rainbows and cutthroat trout, as well as a few brook trout. It's a generally shallower lake but it's location and elevation keep the water temperature ideal for trout.  Best fished during the week as it's proximity to Bend makes it a popular destination for kayakers and stand up paddle board enthusiasts. The regulations on Hosmer prohibit fuel operated motorized boats and so we will be fishing from the comfort of my customized 17' drift boat. It's a beautiful lake with frequent dry fly opportunities.
Price: $500 for one or two anglers.

There are other stillwater opportunities available to us in central Oregon. Wickiup reservoir, Crane Prairie, Carmen Smith Reservoir, just to name a few. They are all beautiful bodies of water and I'd be happy to explore them with you.
